Mental Health Follow-up Care Post Inpatient Hospitalization in the Military Health System, Fiscal Year 2015
This report provides an alternative to a Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) metric, which is used by health system administrators to calculate the rate of mental health follow-up care after inpatient hospitalization. The Deployment Health Clinical Center developed and operationalized this alternative metric to identify potential missed opportunities for follow-up care in the Military Health System in fiscal year 2015.
