The mHealth Clinical Integration program manages the sustainment of existing DHA mobile health apps and websites.
DHA Connected Health websites and mobile apps provide information and support to service members, veterans, and their families dealing with behavioral health issues and traumatic brain injury. They can be used confidentially which helps to overcome stigma and to complement clinical care. Apps can serve as a virtual case manager, gently prompting a user to adjust activity or medication level. A patient’s activity, mood and biometric data, recorded in real time, can be pushed to providers for analysis, prompting between-appointment communication.
